17/02/08 - Stirling University Mens Team Manager Needed

---A message from Brian O'Hara---

My name is Brian O'Hara and I am the President of Stirling University Men’s Gaelic Football Club. We are interested in appointing a team Manager/coach for next season and would appreciate if the club teams could pass this message onto those who may be interested in this position (or pass on my contact details). The club have vastly improved both on and off the field in just three seasons and now are now in a position to compete with teams in the Scottish University League. To improve further we feel that the appointment of a team manger/coach for the new season (starting Oct/08) is vital. The University is in a position to pay coaching positions as long as applicants have the necessary/appropriate experience (not necessarily coaching badges). Those interested in a volunteer role are also welcome. Please contact me at satan12@hotmail.com

---Please contact Brian directly if you need more information---

Dunedin Connollys Vs John Mitchells (Liverpool)
Sunday 21st October
Venue: Greenbank Lane, Liverpool @ 1:00pm.

Dunedin Connollys take on John Mitchells of Liverpool this Sunday for a place in the British Final.

This is Connollys 3rd Semi Final meeting in 4 years and they will hope they can see off the might of the Lancashire champions to reach their 3rd Final in 4 years. Mitchells are ranked as the favourites to take the British Championship and it will be a huge scalp for our boys if they manage to pull of the victory. Having won back their Scottish Championship this year anything from now on in will be regarded as a bonus and the boys will put everything they have into this game to try and get themselves back into another British Final.

The whole of Scottish GAA will be behind the lads when they take the field and im sure they will make everybody proud with their efforts win or lose.

The two sides have not met each other before and by all accounts both teams like to play nice open football. It should be a very good game and with a dash of luck we hope it will be our boys that come out on top.

All support will be welcome, so try to get yourself down if you can.
